For a full description of this complex, one is referenced to the book "Architecture Part of the God Dance" where the following design concepts are set out in detail. (pages 12 - 17)

  1. Ordered Crystallization & Individualism
  2. Symmetricalization & Self-Existence
  3. Additive or Growth Architecture
  4. The Sense of Order & Systematization of Elements
  5. Sense of Structure
  6. A Sense of Definiteness

This structure has been published at different times in the Vancouver Sun (1963) and Vancouver Province (1963), the Journal of Commerce (1963, 1964), Prestressed Concrete Items (May, 1967) and Engineering News.

The Killarney Community Centre is featured on pages 12 - 17 in "Architecture - Part of the God Dance"

It should be noted that the Killarney Community Centre has of recent times been added to and painted over by others effectively destroying the integrity of the design.
